Jo Cubbon – Executive Chairman

Jo trained as a Nurse and Health Visitor and in 2000 became a CEO in the NHS, a position she successfully held in a number of Trusts until 2016. She has always been passionate about developing strong values and behaviours in teams and has led successful NHS organisations believing firmly that consistent performance and care for patients is borne out of people knowing what is expected of them. Jo also works as a family magistrate in the South West of England and is a Trustee at Plymouth Argyle Football Club.
Sarah Atkinson – Chief Executive
Sarah trained as an Accountant in the NHS and has been supporting programmes of work across the NHS and Local Authorities for over 20 years. She is driven by a desire to make a difference with a passion for connecting data and people. Sarah has run Health Advisory and Analytics businesses in Capita, including CHKS, over a period of 6 years as well as personally supporting some large change programmes across health and social care. She is a qualified executive coach which enables her to help harness the power of people and teams to achieve extraordinary things.

Kate Hannam – Chief Operating Officer

Kate is an experienced executive operational leader and has more than 20 years of senior operational and programme management experience working in acute Trust’s and in partnership with key stakeholders across the health and social care system. She has led the development and delivery of a number of strategic and operational plans at both the local and system level which have re-designed services across the patient pathways resulting in more responsive and effective services with a ‘no delay’ philosophy. Ensuring services are delivered in an integrated and transformative way which improves outcomes not only for patients but creates also an environment and opportunity for staff to flourish in is at the heart of Kate’s work ethic.
Karen Evans – Director of Delivery
MSc Advanced Clinical Practice, PGDip Quality Improvement
Karen trained as an Occupational Therapist and then gained 10 years experience leading Service Improvement teams before moving into Director of Operations/Assistant COO roles, bringing 31 years NHS experience into the team.
Karen is passionate about making positive sustainable improvement that benefits both staff and patient experience and recognises the significant challenges that operational and clinical teams face on a day to day basis that impacts on performance, patient safety and staff morale.
Karen is a Health Foundation Fellow, following successful completion of the Generation Q programme and receiving PGDip in Leadership in Quality Improvement, using the bursary to visit and study the Nuka model of care in Alaska which demonstrated the power of data driven decisions in healthcare improvement.
Paul Brandwood – Director of Data & Analytics
MPhil, BSc Hons
Paul has over 20 years’ experience, 13 of which have been with the NHS. Working as the Business Intelligence Manager, implementing an award-winning, full stack Microsoft Business Intelligence solution providing real-time analytics across the hospital. Paul has completed a wide range of modelling and information and business intelligence projects, striving to make information useful and understandable but also beautiful and innovative. Paul graduated from university with a BSc (Hons) and a MPhil in molecular biology, specifically focussed on the genetic causes of Acute Myeloid Leukaemia
Lighthouse Team – Senior Analysts
Dylan is a very experienced and professional Analyst, Developer and Project Manager. He has an excellent record of project delivery of finance and information projects within the NHS and private sector using both Prince 2 and Agile methodologies. During his time as an analyst and developer he has gained a vast experience of producing advanced level management reports and interactive tools using MS SQL, QlikView and Tableau.
Jodi joined Alamac as a Senior Quality and Delivery Specialist with expertise in Analytics in October 2018. Jodi graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Statistics in 2015. She has since applied her understandings to pursue her passion of healthcare analysis, leveraging data to improve patient care, patient safety and the understanding of clinical outcomes. She has been involved with a variety of pathway redesign and predictive analytics projects, as well as leading on the design of national speciality reports alongside specialist clinicians and national programme leads.

Rob is a highly experienced operational, strategic and commercially aware Project Director with extensive experience of the transition of patient services, managing change and implementation of operational excellence within the Acute provider sector. Rob has successfully centralised, transferred and managed challenging and complex specialist services, contracts and operations across multi sites in acute secondary care, primary care GP out of hours’ services and community care. In the private sector, Rob has managed large 3rd party warehousing contracts and in blue-chip retail environments.
A highly experienced executive director with significant integrated governance, commissioning, turnaround and operational experience, including service improvement techniques, transformation, facilitation and training. Jacqui possesses a proven track record of establishing quality standards across an organisation, providing strategic leadership and having the confidence and experience to successfully work with external partners and stakeholders.
Bharti has worked in the NHS for 37 years in a variety of nursing, midwifery, management and leadership roles. More recently she has been working as a management consultant. She has a successful track record of delivering a full spectrum of projects and initiatives at senior executive level covering wide ranging areas of governance in the NHS and in a Charitable organisation. She is still on the professional register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
She is strongly self motivated with a proven ability to drive forward standards that deliver the highest quality patient care, creating a supportive working environment in which staff can grow and flourish. She has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong team player and a leader with the highest levels of personal integrity.
